FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions
Planning new fitted wardrobes for your home? Here are some of the questions we're most commonly asked about custom and built-in wardrobes. If there's anything else you'd like to know, call us on 085 786 1511 or send us an enquiry.
How much do custom fitted wardrobes cost?
The cost depends on the size of the wardrobes, the design, materials, internal storage requirements and finish you choose. Once we’ve discussed your project and understand what you’re looking for, we’ll provide a clear quotation based on the work involved.
How long does it take to install fitted wardrobes?
This varies depending on the size and complexity of the project. A smaller wardrobe installation may take considerably less time than a complete wall-to-wall fitted wardrobe with extensive internal storage. We’ll give you an expected timeframe before work begins.
Do you design the wardrobes as well as build them?
Yes. You don’t need to arrive with a finished wardrobe design. Tell us what you need to store and show us any styles or inspiration you like, and we can help develop a practical layout that works for your room.
Can you build wardrobes for awkward spaces?
Yes. That’s one of the main advantages of made-to-measure wardrobes. They can be designed around sloped ceilings, chimney breasts, alcoves, uneven walls and other spaces where standard freestanding wardrobes may not work particularly well.
Can I choose the internal layout of my wardrobes?
Yes. The internal storage can be designed around your requirements, including hanging space, shelves, drawers and different storage sections. We’ll discuss how you want to use the wardrobes before agreeing the final layout.
Can fitted wardrobes go from floor to ceiling?
Yes. Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes are a great way to maximise storage and make use of space that would otherwise be wasted above standard furniture. The exact design will depend on the dimensions and layout of your room.
Can you build both traditional and modern fitted wardrobes?
Yes. Your wardrobes can be designed to suit the style of your home and the look you’re trying to achieve, from simple contemporary fitted storage to more traditional cabinetry and finishes.
